Upgraded and improved from previous generations made for other brands, this pointe shoe is the broadest in the Classic Symphony Collection. Best suited for dancers with broad metatarsals with a very slight taper and the tip. The CL90 Legata has a very full high crown. Compare RC90 Enchante which is on the same last but different construction that makes the crown more shallow. Pleated pointe shoes have higher crowns due to the traditional turn-shoe method of construction. The shanks and soles are attached using nails and glue. Both of these make shoes more pliable and allow the dancer to go further over the platform.
